Looking After PPF in Everyday HSR Driving
HSR Layout means daily commutes, Outer Ring Road and Silk Board traffic, and dusty roads where work is going on.
- Rinse first, then wash. Dust on the film turns into scratches when you wipe it dry.
- Hand wash with pH-neutral soap, a soft mitt and clean microfibre to dry.
- Dry the car to avoid hard-water spots.
- Skip brush washes, and keep pressure washers away from edges.
- Deal quickly with bird droppings, sap and tar, using PPF-safe products.
- Use shade or covered parking where available, including apartment basements.

- A stain will not wash off.
- A stone chip or cut has gone through the film.
- It has been a year since your last check.
